Come for inspiring conversations, community connection, and a chance to explore new, hopeful pathways to change.
Already selling hundreds of copies, worldwide, you will have the opportunity to hear the stories behind the stories, as Recovery Connections and New Central Media present this groundbreaking series to the world.

Hear from the authors
On March 13th, Recovery Connections staff on Teesside featured on BBC Radio Tees daytime show, hosted by Gary Philipson. Speaking about lived experience, and how it has created a series of new books, Peter and Aliyah chatted about life in recovery, and becoming published authors.
Influencing national policy
Since publication, Recovery Capital Pathways in Prison’, an edited book amplifying lived experience voices in recovery, has been officially cited as written evidence in the UK Parliament’s Justice Committee Review. This marks a significant moment in recognising the policy relevance of recovery-informed research and the power of lived experience to drive reform.
