Introducing Clear Nights: A New Alcohol-Free Evening for Middlesbrough
For the past few years, our fortnightly Sober Social has given people across Middlesbrough a warm and welcoming space to meet others, have fun and enjoy time together, with no alcohol involved in the evening. Since then, it’s become a much‑loved part of our community, and our teams in Stockton, Gateshead and Sunderland now also host similar, regular events. And now, in 2026, it’s evolving into something even more special.
We’re excited to introduce Clear Nights, a new monthly alcohol‑free evening event, hosted at Connections Community Cafe. Clear Nights has been created for anyone who wants meaningful social experiences in a relaxed environment, without the pressure to drink. It’s about real connection, great company and genuine entertainment.
The first Clear Nights event takes place on Thursday 5th March, with a restaurant‑style two‑course meal and a magic show from Chris Cowl — a magician who has performed for celebrities including Arnold Schwarzenegger, Tyson Fury, Jonathan Ross and many more.
Tickets are £15, and the two-course meal is included. But only 50 seats available, it’s set to be an intimate, friendly and memorable alcohol‑free evening.
Clear Nights is the next step in our commitment to creating inclusive, safe and enjoyable social spaces for both the recovery, and wider community.
